What are FLOW ARTS?
Flow arts. A term used in the flow community to describe a type of movement or dance that involves the manipulation of a "flow" prop. An example of these type of props include but not limited to hula hoops, poi, fans, staff, clubs, and levitation wand. In psychology, "flow" can be described as a state of mind in which a person is completely immersed in an activity with a feeling of energized focus, involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, the flow arts can be viewed as a type of meditative therapy for the mind and body and soul for the person involved and seen as a dance for spectators.
